This report is for inherent diminished value only and does not require a physical inspection of the vehicle. Please review the "Inherent Diminished Value" section of the "What is Diminished Value?" page to decide if this report is for you or if you would like a physical report done by one of our staff members.

Physical Diminished Value Report

This report is conducted by one of our staff professionals and entails a complete physical inspection of the repaired vehicle covering both "Insurance Related Diminished Value" as well as "Repair Related Diminished Value". This detailed report and inspection will also determine if the vehicle has been properly repaired and is functionally safe.

With this service Collision Consulting assists you, the consumer, in making sure proper repairs are completed on you vehicle, and and that sufficient and proper compensation is made by the insurer. We will review the insurance estimate with you and the repair facility for thoroughness and accuracy. Collision Consulting will monitor the repairs process with you and continuously assess the repair work for any deficiences in safety, quality, function and appearance. Collision Consulting will then furnish you with a detailed Diminshed Value report once repairs are completed.

Pre-Purchase Inspection Report

Collision Consulting will perform an on-site inspection of a vehicle you are considering purchasing to determine if the vehicle has been wrecked before and if collision repairs that have been made are functionally safe. During a "Pre-Purchase Inspection" we will inspect all aspects of the vehicle, checking for signs of previous repair and document any deficiencies found. This service can be invaluable when purchasing a used vehicle and can be used to avoid buying a lemon, or to better negotiate the price.
